29 апреля на открытии Russian Opera Gala и IX Международного Фестиваля русской песни в Великобритании (Кадоган-Холл, (Лондон)), состоится премьера авторского короткометражного документального фильма производства Павла Соро по заказу Eurolog UK, посвященного Народной артистке СССР Елене Образцовой и Народному артисту России Дмитрию Хворостовскому. “Этот фильм нестандартно раскрывает этих двух мировых оперных исполнителей с менее известной для публики человеческой стороны, и доказывает то, что жизнь исполнителей на самом деле полна взлетов и падений, успехов и разочарований, свойственных каждому из нас.” – Павел Соро.

The main aims of the Festival and Contest are to bring together TWO GREAT CULTURES – BRITISH AND RUSSIAN, to attract both English and Russian-speaking musicians to perform famous Russian music, to advance Russian culture, promote the works of Russian composers and poets, seek out and present new talent, support young performers as well as professionals, and to maintain and develop the traditions of Russian vocal, musical and poetic art. Within the Festival, the cultural project “In Dedication to Elena Obraztsova” will be held, including a photo exhibition and film demonstration about the singer’s life and work.
